Crazy Tollywood combination hero Vijay Devarakonda and Mrinal Thakur are the hero and heroines of director Parasuram Petla's movie “The Family Star”. Now let's wait and see if this movie that came to entertain the family audience as a gift this summer has met the expectations.
Story:
Coming to the story, Govardhan (Vijay Devarakonda), a young man from an ordinary middle class family with a small job as an architect engineer, carries the weight of his family responsibilities with savings and income. At that time, when a girl Indu (Mrinal Thakur) comes into his life to rent his house, how will his life turn? Why did she come into his life and what were the challenges they faced in this background? Will they meet or not? Who is this? What this family star will do in the end has to be seen on the silver screen.
Maximum Marks:
If we go into the movie, first of all we have talked about the actors but we have to say that Vijay Devarakonda will be seen in this movie as a perfect family man in the hero role. Some scenes with his family can touch middle class families. Also, Vijay has cultivated variations in his role. Also some mass moments about him may be liked by the fans. Director Parasuram Petla tried to express the problems faced by a person who takes responsibility of the house in a middle class family in the movie.
It can be said that the heroine Mrinal Thakur has impressed with her decent performance in her role. The chemistry between the two has been made suitable for some scenes. Also her decent looks natural performance is good. Besides these, Jagapathi Babu impressed the audience in his role, and Vennela Kishore and senior actress Rohini Hattangadi and others did enough justice to their roles.
Low Marks:
It has to be said that the painful aspects of the film are a bit more than the touching ones. Although the concept is simple, the story of the movie has lost a flow. Director Parasuram Petla has tried to make some scenes seem old, but he has continued the story in the first part and the second part. It takes a long time to get into the main point of the actual movie.
It doesn't look like Pony is interested in the story at all. There is no proper entertainment, it would be better if some emotional scenes are added in the movie. This error is visible from the beginning to the end of the film. In addition to this, Mrinal's character meeting Vijay does not match in the scenes of both of them (it would be better if the background story between them was added to show the heroine coming to his house for the hero in a basic movie). Also some scenes on Vijay feel excessive.
And actors like Vasuki and Abhinaya do not see much importance. Also, those who expect a solid entertainer like Geetha Govindam from Vijay and Parasuram may be a bit disappointed. Also, even if only a few scenes are good, it would be better if the second story is repeated with better scenes.
Technical Section:
The production values are good in this film. Dil Raju has given it in the movie as per the requirement. And in the technical team, Gopi Sundar's music is very average. Kay U Mohanan's cinematography is good. Also, Marthand K Venkatesh had to reduce some routine scenes in editing.
And when it comes to director Parasuram Petla. It must be said that this film is a bit of week work in his career. Vijay's role was planned to be one such person in every middle class family but this disappointed the audience in the movie. It seems that the entertaining and emotional scenes from him as the main character are greatly missed in this film. Except for very few scenes, Ao directed the movie as a bore.
Age of Abhi:
Overall, the main lead in "The Family Star" does not seem to matter. Also, some scenes are just okay but expectations from the hit combination of Vijay and Parasuram Petla disappointed the audience a bit. Emotions scenes are not worked out, story is disappointing. The director still needs to work on the story and stories. But this week, it seems that this family star movie can be seen once.
