Tamil hero Pradeep Ranganathan's film 'Return of the Dragon' is a film. Anupama Parameswaran and Kayadhu Lohar played the heroines in this film. Let's go into the review and find out to what extent this movie impressed us
Dhanpal Raghavan alias D Raghavan (Pradeep Ranganathan) is a first rank student till class 12. He passes with 96% and gets a seat in a good college. However, he becomes a bad boy because of a girl. As a result, he fails in 48 subjects by the time he completes his B.Tech. Moreover, he falls in love with Keerthy (Anupama Parameswaran) in the same college.
Eventually, he gets a software job through a back door entry and gets the chance to go to America, and also gets the lucky chance to marry a rich girl Pallavi (Kayadu Lohar).
At that time, due to an incident, his college principal comes into Raghavan's life. ? Why did the college principal come to Raghavan? Why did Raghavan's name become Dragon?
What was the unexpected shock that Raghavan got? What happened in the end? That is the rest of the story.
High marks:
Pradeep Ranganathan, who became close to the Telugu audience with the movie Love Today, impressed with this movie as well. The point chosen by director Ashwath Marimuthu as a youth-full message-oriented story is basically good. The scenes written with love, education, family emotions, and a good message for the student made the movie more feel-good. The way the hero Pradeep Ranganathan's character was established from the opening is good. George Marion lived the role of his father. His performance was amazing. Anupama Parameswaran's performance as the heroine was impressive. Similarly, Kayadhu also shone with glamour and beauty. He also scored good marks with his acting role. Similarly, his dialogues and his gestures are good along with the role of Mysskin.
Gautham Vasudev Menon's performance as the owner of a software company is good. And at the end, Love Today fame Ivana appeared in a role that excited the audience with a special appearance.
Low marks:
Director Ashwath Marimuthu, who designed the character of Dragon (Pradeep Ranganathan) and the scenes for that character well, did not write the treatment of this film at the same level. Some scenes feel slow and regular. And in the second half, the excitement in the story is missing.
The film seems to be average in terms of twist and action scenes. And if the screenplay and main characters were written more strongly in the second half, the film would have had more passion.
Technical Section:
The background score in the movie is good. When it comes to technical aspects, Niketh Bommireddy's cinematography and Leon James' music have created a special attraction for this movie. Many scenes in the movie have been beautifully shot in a colorful manner by Niketh Bommi. The dialogues and lyrics written for this dubbed movie make it seem like it has completely become a Telugu movie. Producers Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh, and Kalpathi S. Suresh have produced this movie without compromising anywhere. Their production values are very good.
Verdict:
This movie, which has been dubbed as 'Return of the Dragon', is a youthful comedy entertainer. The main story, comedy and some emotional scenes are good. But the regular story script and the increase in lag scenes in the film are the minuses of the film. Pradeep Ranganathan, who became an overnight star with the film Love Today, has once again made a breakthrough in the role he got. Overall, some youthful elements connect in this film. Finally, the director has led the story in a way that makes you want to watch the movie in the theater once, it can be said to be a good entertaining movie for youthful boys.
