To save the party founded by her father (IUF), (Priyadarshini Ramdas) leads that party.

In this order, Qureshi Abram alias Stephen Nedumpally (Mohanlal) enters the field to improve the political situation in Kerala.

What kind of change will happen in Kerala politics with the arrival of Stephen? What is his feud with Balraj? What is Balaraj's connection with Zayed Masood (Prithviraj Sukumaran)?

To know, you have to watch this movie on the silver screen.

High marks:

Director Prithviraj Sukumaran presented Empuraan on a grand scale. He made this movie beyond the expectations of the audience. The director ran the movie with grander visuals and huge action sequences for this movie.

Mohanlal impressed the audience with his own powerful performance. Despite being silent, the dialogues he speaks provide a good treat to the fans. His character is well designed. In terms of the story, the fight sequence in the forest also impresses the audience.

Manju Warrier impressed the audience with her role. Tovino Thomas gave a good performance in his role. Although Prithviraj Sukumaran's role in the story is a bit small, it is impressive.

Visually, the film has achieved good marks. Some scenes like the church fight sequence and Mohanlal's grand entry were shown in Hollywood style.

Mohanlal impressed the audience in his own style

Low marks:

Although there are some admirable scenes in the film, it must be said that Mohanlal's role in the overall story is minimal. It seems that the director has focused more on elevating the characters than narrating the story. There are some flaws in Murali Gopi's writing in terms of the story. The story of the sequel to Lucifer lacks depth due to the craze.

The slow pace and high runtime of this film are a minus for the film. Due to this, some good scenes also seem to have gone off track. It would have been better if more thrilling scenes were linked for the audience. Although Mohanlal's role is good, the film looks dull due to the lack of strength in the story.

When the movie was shown as International War, the translated voice in Telugu was missing. In the voice of Last Fight, Hindi voice was used more. The Telugu audience did not understand the meaning. Although the background voice and music were good, it was a minus in showing the story clearly on the screen.

It should be said that most of the characters in this movie are also a bit of a minus for the movie. It is not clear why some characters are there in terms of the story. It seems that Tovino Thomas' character did not suit the story to some extent. Indrajith Sukumaran's character also feels a bit like this.

Many aspects of the story are confused by the slow pace, and this story could not impress the audience. Also, the lack of depth in the pre-climax and climax scenes may not be liked by all sections of the audience.

Technical section:

Prithviraj Sukumaran's direction is super. It seems that he has focused more on the elevation of the character selection. This is especially understandable when you look at Mohanlal's grand entry. If more focus had been placed on the screenplay, the audience would have connected more to this movie.

Sujith Vasudev's cinematography work is very good. The way he presented the grand visuals in the movie is impressive. The editing work would have been better if this movie had been improved. The production values are very good. The Telugu dubbing will impress the audience to a large extent.

Finally:

Overall, although the movie 'Empuran' has grand visuals and highlight elevations.. the story lacks gripping elements and depth. The story strength of Lucifer seems to have diminished in this movie. Although Mohanlal's character is solid, the slow pace of the story and the large number of characters would have been better if their background had been explained a little, even Mohanlal fans will like this movie. It is better if the common audience goes to this movie with low expectations.
