“Game Changer” is the first Pan India film to come out as our Sankranthi gift. This film, directed by S Shankar and starring global star Ram Charan, was released at a high level. Let’s go into the review and see to what extent this film met the expectations.
Story:
Now (as a political entertainment movie) this movie will please the audience to some extent. Coming to the story. (In the current AP, Bobbili Satya Murthy (Srikanth) will continue as the Chief Minister in the name of Abhyudayam Party. But the current minister and son Bobbili Mopi Devi (SJ Surya) has always wanted to be the CM. In this context, Ram Nandan (Ram Charan) comes as the Collector of the same AP. And what was the war between him and Mopi Devi? In this sequence of unexpected developments, why does Satya Murthy declare Ram Nandan as the Chief Minister of AP? What will Mopi Devi do who thought she would be the Chief Minister? How did the political war between them go? In all this, who is the real founder of Abhyudayam Party, then you have to watch this movie on the silver screen.
High marks:
For this movie, not only Ram Charan fans Shankar's fans are also eagerly waiting. And there is no doubt that it will be no less than their expectations. As Shankar said in the case of this film, the film runs with a crazy screenplay with solid mass elements that will make the audience look towards the screen throughout. Also, the elevations or some twists in the film will excite them a lot.
Director S Shankar has some new ideas for the audience, and there are mass-type scenes seen in his politically related films. As for the actors, the first thing to say is for Ram Charan. There is no need to specifically say what kind of performance Shankar has shown in S Shankar's films, especially from his heroes. And in Game Changer too, Ram Charan gave a kick with his unpredictable performance.
There is no doubt that Ram Charan has definitely given another good performance that will remain in his career. (As a Chittibabu in the Rangasthalam movie and now as Appanna in the Game Changer movie) He impresses the audience with his unexpected performance. Hats off to the innocence and dedication in the role of Appanna. Charan also treats Ram Nandan with stylish young looks. He shows his variations according to the context in the movie.
Now, Anjali's role in the movie. Somehow those roles in Charan's career will remain in Anjali's career. Anjali has acted very wonderfully in her role. Some scenes on Anjali's role in the movie are superb, but the heart does not feel like it is moving. SJ Surya, who played the villain, showed his mark role villainy. Some hero-villain scenes between Charan and him arouse the interest of the audience. And he gave a good performance in his role with his variation and looks.
Actor Srikanth was seen in a good active role after a long time with a good role. And heroine Kiara Advani also appears in a key role in the movie with her glamour and entertains. Also (after Pushpa's villain role) Sunil performs very actively in this movie as a side walker. And there is one scene on comedy Brahma Brahmanandam, that scene is good. Jairam entertains with a comic role. The songs in the movie are not bad, the grand visuals are good. Also, the movie runs with several scenes on the powers and political power of an IAS officer in the first and second half.
Low marks:
There is nothing new in the story of this movie. The story is old in the movie but he tried to show it in a new way. Ram Charan Anjali (the scene where the mother and son leave) should have been shown in a way that would make sense to the audience. Director: S Shankar The story is good but the sequence of scenes is missing in the movie. The songs in the movie are not in line with the story and the first fifteen minutes are a bit slow. The audience does not understand what Ram Charan's first introduction fight is.
Also, Thaman and SJ Surya gave a lot of hype to the song in the movie but it did not seem to matter. Some scenes in the second half seemed routine here and there. They could not show anything new in terms of the story. In addition to this, the old character should have been shown more stylishly. Even if Ram Charan is shown in a dignified manner in the movie, it may seem new in the story.
Technical section:
Dil Raju's investment in this movie is visible. The production values are very good. However, the VFX effects need to be done better. The song "Jargadi" will disappoint the audience in the theaters. All the other songs are at a level that is below Shankar's standards. Thaman has definitely given his best to Shankar's standards. The editing is good. Thiru's cinematography is rich and grand with good visuals.
And when it comes to director Shankar. He has been somewhat successful in trying to show what his fans have been wanting for the past few years. Although the story is by Karthik Subbaraj, he has managed to deliver with his mark story and strong emotions
Finally:
As a whole, this “Game Changer” can be said to be a bit of a political action drama. Once again in his career, Ram Charan shows the diversity of the actor in him and impresses the audience. He will definitely be remembered by the audience. He and the other main cast have done well in the film. The moving (Anjali Ram Charan) emotions and the manchi mass masala political scenes engage the audience in the film. However, the story seems a bit routine. So, leaving these aside, you can watch it with your family.
